1. Who We Are
Ginnobot is an AI chatbot platform operated by Aiginno Technologies Pvt Ltd. Registered address: Science City, Ahmedabad. This policy explains how we process personal data through ginnobot.ai, the dashboard, public website forms, embeddable chatbot widget, customer cookie banner, and WordPress plugin.
2. Data We Collect
We collect account information, authentication data, chatbot configuration, uploaded knowledge sources, chat conversations, lead details submitted by visitors, contact form messages, demo booking details, billing and subscription records when payments are used, support messages, consent records, and technical metadata such as browser type, page URL, timestamps, and approximate country signals where available.
3. Browser Storage and Cookies
Ginnobot uses necessary first-party storage for consent choices, authentication session markers, account tokens in localStorage, and chatbot session continuity after a visitor intentionally opens the chatbot. Optional preference storage, Google Analytics, Google AdSense, and browser-side ipapi.co currency detection are controlled by the consent system.
4. How We Use Data
We use data to provide and secure accounts, operate chatbots, process visitor messages, capture leads requested by customers, send transactional emails through Resend where configured, manage plans and billing through Razorpay when payment is active, answer support requests, measure website performance after consent, and show Google AdSense advertising after consent.
5. AI and Infrastructure Providers
Chatbot prompts and retrieved content may be processed by configured AI providers such as Google Gemini and Groq when enabled by administrators. Data may also be stored or processed using PostgreSQL, hosting infrastructure, AWS S3 where configured, and email delivery systems. These backend providers are not browser cookies.
6. WhatsApp and Plugin Data
If Meta WhatsApp Cloud API is configured, WhatsApp conversation data is transmitted through the configured WhatsApp integration. The WordPress plugin sends the configured public chatbot key, page context, visitor messages, and lead form submissions to Ginnobot API endpoints so the chatbot can work on customer sites.
7. Legal Bases
Depending on location and context, processing may rely on contract performance, legitimate interests, consent, or legal obligation. Optional analytics, advertising, browser-side automatic currency detection, and marketing communications depend on consent where required.
8. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data with service providers only as needed to provide the service, process payments, deliver email, host infrastructure, operate AI responses, support integrations, comply with law, or protect rights and security.
9. Retention
We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain accounts, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Some deletion and retention controls are manual or account-driven unless a specific technical retention rule is shown in the product.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including access controls, HTTPS in transit for the public service, authentication, and operational monitoring. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
11. International Transfers
Ginnobot and its providers may process data in countries other than the country where a user or visitor is located. Where GDPR applies, international transfer safeguards should be assessed with the relevant providers and agreements.
12. DPDP and GDPR Considerations
Users in India may have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 as it becomes operational. EEA and UK users may have GDPR-style rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, portability, withdraw consent, and complain to a supervisory authority.
13. Your Choices
Visitors can change or withdraw optional cookie consent using Cookie Settings. Account users can update profile and notification settings in the dashboard and may contact Ginnobot for access, correction, deletion, or support requests.
14. Customer Responsibilities
Ginnobot customers are responsible for their own visitor notices, lawful chatbot content, cookie classifications, privacy policy, cookie policy, consent choices on their websites, and any third-party technologies they add to their own pages.
15. Changes
We may update this policy. Material cookie or tracking changes can require a new consent decision through the consent system. The Last Updated date and Policy Version identify the current public version.
16. Contact
Privacy requests should be sent to sales@ginnobot.ai. Support requests should be sent to sales@ginnobot.ai. Include enough detail for us to identify the relevant account or request.
